Antimicrobial agents for systemic use.
Therapeutic indications
Infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by cefazolin-sensitive microorganisms:
- respiratory tract infections;
- genitourinary tract infections;
- skin and soft tissue infections;
- bone and joint infections;
- sepsis;
- endocarditis;
- biliary tract infections.
Prevention of surgical infections.
Contraindications
Increased sensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics and other ß-lactam antibiotics.
Pharmaceutical characteristics
Shelf life
Cefazolin, powder for solution for injections - 3 years. Water for injections - 4 years. Expiration date shall be determined relative to the drug component (powder or solvent) the expiration date of which expires first.
Storage
No special storage conditions are required.
Keep out of reach of children.
Constituted solution: store at 2-8°C.
