General properties
Therapeutic indications
Contracid is indicated for use in adults in:
– reflux esophagitis,
– gastric and duodenal ulcers,
– Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other hypersecretory pathological conditions.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance, benzimidazole derivatives and to any drug component.
Pharmaceutical characteristics
Main physicochemical properties
White or off-white powder or loose mass.
Shelf life
3 years. From the perspective of microbiology, the diluted product shall be used immediately. However, the physicochemical stability of the diluted product is maintained for 12 hours at 25 °C.
Storage
Store in the original packaging at temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
