
Ibuprofen 200
General properties
Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain of various origins (headache, toothache, painful menstruation), including colds and fever.
• Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or to any of the components of the drug.
• Hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. bronchial asthma, rhinitis, angioedema or urticaria) previously observed after taking ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid/aspirin or other NSAIDs in history.
• Gastric and/or duodenal ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding in active form, or history of relapses (two or more severe episodes of ulceration or bleeding in the past).
• Acute or previously suffered inflammatory bowel diseases (such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis).
• History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation associated with the previous use of NSAIDs.
• Increased tendency to bleed.
• Severe renal failure (creatinine clearance < 30 ml/min).
• Severe hepatic failure (cirrhosis, ascites).
• Severe heart failure (class III-IV according to the NYHA (New York Heart Association) classification).
• Treatment of postoperative pain after coronary artery bypass grafting (or use of the artificial blood circulation device).
• Last trimester of pregnancy (see section "Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding")
Pharmaceutical characteristics
200 mg tablets: film-coated tablets,white or white-off straight solid cylinders with convex end surfaces
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of the reach of children.
