General properties
Medications for mycobacteria. TB agents. Thiourea derivatives. Prothionamide .
Treatment in combination therapy with other anti-TB agents of various forms of tuberculosis treatment failure with first-line drugs. It can also be used as an alternative to clofazimine for the treatment of leprosy.
Hypersensitivity to prothionamide or other ingredients. Acute and chronic liver diseases (eg, acute hepatitis, cirrhosis), gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, erosive and ulcerative colitis, diabetes mellitus, chronic alcoholism.
Pharmaceutical characteristics
Round-shaped tablets, coated tablets, orange, upper and lower surfaces are convex. At fault is seen under a magnifying glass core yellow, surrounded by a continuous layer.
Keep in original packaging ant temperature not exceeding 25 оС. Keep out of reach of children.
