Antiviral medication of direct action. Nucleoside and nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Lamivudine.
Therapeutic indications
Lamivudine in combination with other antiretroviral agents is indicated for the treatment of HIV infection.
Contraindications
The drug is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to lamivudine or to other components of the drug in history.

Main physicochemical properties
Diamond-shaped tablets, film-coated, white or off-white color with upper and lower convex surfaces, at the risk of the section on each side. At fault is seen under a magnifying glass core surrounded by a continuous layer.
